Ivanhoe – Brite Decking
At DNA Decks, we believe that your outdoor space should be an extension of your lifestyle. That’s why we took an ordinary backyard and turned it into a luxurious poolside retreat. We’re talking about the kind of place where you can unwind after a long day, host unforgettable gatherings, and make memories that last a lifetime.
This project isn’t just about a deck. It’s a carefully designed space that wraps around the pool and spa, creating an inviting oasis right in your backyard. The stylish long screen wall, decked out with James Hardie’s “Axon Cladding” in a “Smooth” finish, adds a modern touch that’s both elegant and cozy.
Brite Composite Decking
TITANIUM RANGE IN ‘GRAPHITE’
Imagine a deck that looks like natural timber but is built to last. That’s the magic of Brite Decking. A premium composite decking solution that marries the beauty of natural timber with cutting-edge technology. The choice of the “Graphite” color from the “Titanium Range” adds a touch of timeless sophistication. It’s not just about looks—the aged, greyed appearance and the comfortable feel underfoot make it a true standout.
A Deck Built on Unshakable Foundations
Ever wondered what it takes to turn a regular backyard into a slice of paradise? The Ivanhoe Pool Deck project was a journey was a rollercoaster of hard work, dedication, and overcoming hurdles, reminding us that great things are often born from hard work.
It’s easy to admire the deck’s surface, but what’s hidden beneath is equally fascinating. The deck’s strong foundation required 10 cubic metres of concrete for piers and stumps. Holes so big you they can easily fit a grown person!
The ground posed perhaps the most formidable challenge for our team. Packed with unyielding rock, it became a battle of persistence to reach the required depth. Our excavator took us a certain distance, but then it was time for jackhammers, crowbars, and a lot of hard-earned sweat to step in and conquer the task at hand.
This deck represents engineering at its finest, built to withstand time and provide a space to relax for years to come.
The end result: Worth it.
